Grey and Black Mood

Dress:  Leith // Moto Jacket: H&M // Shoes: Libby Edelman // Necklace: Similar // Bag: Similar,  Similar

Hi, Friends!!  Do you recognize this dress? I have this under $60 dress in two colors! I posted it (in a different color) as a date night look ages ago and again as a #tbt on Instagram yesterday to remind you (here)!  I teased that I would be restyling the grey version of the dress on the blog today, so here is my restyle of this versatile dress!  I’ve said it before on the blog, and I’ll say it again…I try to not wear anything the exact same way when wearing it again.  I play up different details of the outfit, wear my hair differently, or wear different shoes or accessories, etc…whatever I can to give it a different look.

In my previous look, I went for a sexy, date night look.  I threw on a statement necklace, heels, and a clutch.  In this look, I switched out the statement necklace and threw on some casual bow slides and my new moto jacket from H&M!  I love how the look turned out.  I am trying to step out of my fashion comfort zone more and more and try looks that I may not have before.   When I think of dresses/skirts, I usually think of heels!!  So, wearing sneakers with a dress is something relatively new for me.  I’ve always liked how it looks on other people.  You know how that goes….it looks great on them, but it probably won’t be so great on me.  Well, let’s stop that now!  Of course it will be great on you!  You just have to give it a try and maybe make a few adjustments to make it perfect.

I can’t wait to wear this dress again in a different way this fall or even in the winter.  It will look great with tights and boots/booties and a fun scarf!  I love that the dress is long sleeved, and I love the ruching, so it’s flattering!  I can let my stomach be who it wants to be, and it will look good with little effort on my part. Lol.   And it’s under $60, like I mentioned earlier, and comes in 4 colors!!  For reference, my green one is a size medium and my grey one is a size large because I wanted it to have a looser, more comfortable fit.  Get yourself one before it sells out this year!  How would you style this dress?  Have a great weekend, and thanks so much for reading!!
