Hi, y’all!!  I hope you had a great weekend!  I’m going to jump right into talking about this outfit.  Where do I begin…I don’t know how many of you are Amazon Prime members, but I am.  For those of you that are on the right side of history, that Prime two-day shipping is CLUTCH, am I right?!!  So, sometimes I end up browsing on Amazon just to see if they have anything that I might want or need that could show up on my doorstep in only two days! Lol.  Lately, I’ve been a little bit obsessed with the Amazon fashion offerings.  I’ve found some really cute stuff, including some African print items (like this skirt I intend to buy when I lift my shopping ban)!!  By the way, this post is not sponsored by Amazon (unfortunately).  But anyway, I don’t even know what I was doing when I ended up spotting this dress.  But when I did, I fell in love!  It is the perfect shape, and it comes in so many different colors!  I love the white one with black polka dots.  I think I might buy the black one next and maybe another color.   I love the high neck, the 3/4 length sleeves, and the circle skirt.  It’s so flattering.  The best part is that it’s under $30 and available for Prime shipping!  If you look through all the customer photos in the reviews, everyone looks fabulous!!  After reading the reviews, I also ended up also getting a petticoat (which I am wearing in the pics above) in order to make the skirt fuller.  One of my friends (who actually reads all my posts….Hi Danielle!) was heading to London for her honeymoon and was looking for a dress to wear to the theater, and I recommended this one!  She ended up getting the black one with white polka dots, and she loved it!

Anyway, after I bought this fab black and white dress, I was inspired to do an all black and white shoot with different black and white prints.  I think it turned out pretty well.  I got the purse from Amazon as well.  Let me let you in on a little secret regarding my shoes…don’t judge me! So, my shoes are my tried and true all black Calvin Klein shoes, but I wanted them to be black and white for the shoot, so I found black and white polka dot decoration at Target and taped them to my shoes.  Lol.  Now that I’ve told you, don’t go back and look too close at my pictures! Don’t do it!! Lol.  I’m not gonna lie…the double sided tape I used didn’t work very well, but I think it’s a really awesome idea that may have been better executed with stronger tape.   I like the idea of being able to stretch the use of any item in your wardrobe, including your shoes!  I’ve been meaning to head over to Hobby Lobby or something to find some things I can use to clip or tape to my shoes to give them a different look (like pom poms or jewels).  When I successfully execute such a thing, I’ll let you know! But I have linked to several super cute black and white shoes at the beginning and end of this post.  What are your thoughts?  Did you love this look?

  4. ❤️ my black and white dress! I like that the material is a tiny bit stretchy so it makes it fitted at the top. Very flattering. Thanks for recommending. Now to go shop for red pumps…💃🏼
