Happy Monday, Friends!!  We’ve made it to another week!  I hope you had a fabulous Easter weekend!!!  Mine was mostly chill, which was delightful.  I love lazy weekends.  They are great for relaxing and getting personal stuff done! The only activities I did (aside from cleaning, grocery shopping, and blogging) were going to church and spending time with my family on Sunday…it was awesome!

So what do you guys think about this dress?  It’s interesting, right?  I saw it in Zara and was immediately attracted to the sleeves (obvi) and the off-shoulder look.  I’m not gonna lie…I couldn’t quite figure out how to make it work at first.  I wasn’t sure what to do with the belt or how to accessorize it.  Does that happen to you?  You buy something because you like it, but it takes awhile to figure out how to make it work for you?  Sometimes I swear it just takes the right day in the right moment for something to work…one of those days where everything just comes together (like here).   For this look,  I knew with the statement sleeves that I would want to keep the rest of the look fairly simple, so I didn’t look like some type of Carmen Miranda caricature.  I decided to go with neutral shoes and an awesome bag that a friend brought me from Nigeria.  The accessories add some warmth to the neutral dress.  I think next time I wear this dress, I’m going to wear it in a completely different way…maybe wear the dress as a top with a skirt over it or add some brighter accessories next time…who knows.  I’ll, of course, post the look when I do!!

Did you all enjoy my collabo last week with Chigi’s World?!  I hope so!  We have another look coming to y’all this week!  Stay tuned! Have a wonderful week, and thanks so much for reading!!
