Well hello there, my Friends and Sleevenistas!!  I’ve missed y’all! *ALL THE HUGS* I’ve been away for a while, but now I’m back!  In a future post, I’ll catch y’all up on everything that’s been going on in my life, but today I want to talk about this relaxed and casual look from White House Black Market.

During this pandemic, my style has become a lot more casual.  I mostly stay indoors as much as possible and only go out when necessary (while wearing a mask!!).  While I often lean towards yoga pants and tee shirts, sometimes I find myself wanting to elevate my look, but still keep it casual.  These outfits from White House Black Market are perfect for those days I want to look cute on my grocery/errand runs!

I built today’s look around these high rise 5-inch Tencel denim shorts that are so perfect for summer.  The longer length and tie waist make them super flattering.  In general, I’m a big fan of shorts/pants that tie at the waist because I think they are great at camouflaging my stomach area!   I paired the shorts with two different tops today, so that you can get some styling ideas!

My favorite top is the metallic jacquard off-the-shoulder blouse, which I wore on my shoulders for this look.  It could even be worn with just one shoulder on and one shoulder off.  I love that it has that versatility!  You can also dress this top up or down.

Then, for an even more casual look, I paired the shorts with the Pima cotton tee in the beautiful Aura color.  The Pima cotton tee comes in four other colors as well.  Style tip: a high-quality tee is always a good addition to your wardrobe.

Both looks came together perfectly with the beautiful silk mixed-print square scarf (tied in two different ways!) and chic light gold metallic slides.

Have you thought about elevating your casual looks lately?  Let me know in the comments!

Enjoy your weekend, and thanks so much for reading!!
