Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas!! So, as you guys may know, one of the reasons I started this blog was because of the difficulty in finding cute and fashionable clothes with sleeves.  For those of you that understand the struggle, you know what it’s like to sometimes feel like you have to buy that sleeveless dress or top (well, before you found this blog, of course! 🙂 )!  Maybe you liked the pattern, maybe you liked the style or the color, but the one thing you didn’t like…was that it was sleeveless.  And often when we are in that position, we end up looking for something to cover our arms.  A sweater?  A jacket?  Well, one company is helping to solve this problem with their boleros!

What are boleros, you ask?  They are short open jackets, like shrugs!   A few weeks ago,  a trendy, online clothing company called SleekTrends reached out to me to get the word out about their new boleros.  What I love about SleekTrends, other than all the cute stuff they have online for reasonable prices, is that they listen to their customers!!  A lot of their customers complained about the difficulty in finding beautiful bolero jackets or dressy shrugs in a variety of colors to pair with all the sleeveless dresses that they have been forced to buy since they rarely find dresses with sleeves. They responded to their customers by designing 3 styles of boleros in different spring/summer colors for regular and plus sizes – the 3/4 sleeve cascading long back bolero jacket (the black one above and my favorite!), the elbow sleeve shawl collar bolero jacket (the yellow one above), and the elbow sleeve open draped front bolero jacket (the coral one above).  They range in price from $29.99 to $39.99 and come in a variety of colors (each come in at least 6 different colors!).  You could have boleros for days!

These boleros are super comfortable and versatile pieces that can be worn with different styles of skirts/dresses or with pants.  As you can see, I styled them all with the same mixed print outfit, but then styled two of them with different looks.  I particularly like the longer one (the black bolero).  I think it’s great for wearing open, but I also love belting it, like above. All the boleros are perfect to use in covering your arms for church or work. Would you wear a bolero?  Which one is your fave?  Let me know in the comments!

Make sure to check out SleekTrends! Enjoy the rest of your week, and thanks so much for reading!!
