Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas!! We all know that finding the right pair of jeans can be struggle, so most of us have our go-to brands.  I’ve recently discovered a new brand to add to the mix! You guys have seen me talk about Cato Fashions lately (Here and Here).  I always find really cute, affordable clothing there, but I had never checked out their denim.  So, a few weeks ago, I headed to my local Cato store (for those of you in Houston, it’s the one on South Post Oak.  They have a great selection there!)

What I love about Cato is that you can create a whole outfit from head to toe.  For today’s look, I got the sunglasses, the earrings, the top, the jeans, and the bag all for right around $100! I got the shoes from Cato back in the spring, but I’ve linked to a similar pair that they have available now.  Anyhoo, back to my story…so, while on this particular journey to Cato, I discovered how many different types of denim that they have!  If you’re like me, then you’re skeptical about trying new denim because of potential fit issues.  I grabbed a couple of pairs to try on (the crosshatch pair and the buttonfly raw hem pair), and I was pleased to discover that I loved how they both fit.  I sized down in both pairs for an even better fit (yay for sizing down!).

I ended up choosing the crosshatch pair featured in today’s post.  I love the color, and it has slimming technology!!!  I ended up cuffing the jeans for this look because of the shoes, but it looks great uncuffed as well.  I wore it to work for casual Friday last week and got several compliments!  I’m one of those people that likes to brag about how affordable whatever it is that I’m wearing.  lol.  Here’s how the typical conversation went: Colleague/friend: “I really like your jeans.” Me: “They’re only like $25 from Cato Fashions!  I know…such a great price!” Next time, should I just say “thank you” and move on?  Anyhoo, appropriateness aside, these are really great jeans. They’re comfortable and flattering.  Here are some other ones that I’m digging from the Cato site:

Let me know in the comments which one(s) catches your eye!

Have a great weekend, and thanks so much for reading!
