Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas! I realize that I said in my last post that I hoped to have a post on work basics up on the blog late last week.  We are into a new week, and, as you can see, this is clearly not a work style post, since most jobs won’t let you roll up into work with holes in your jeans! But, I have indeed been working on the work basics post and will continue to work on it until it’s done and posted (whenever that will be).  However, since it’s Friday, let’s do a casual Friday post!

This casual Friday post is all about distressed denim. I love this look.  It came together really well.  It’s casual and cool, as a white tee paired with denim often is.  This classic pairing has a bit of an edge because of the distressed denim.  Awhile ago, I decided I needed distressed jeans in my life, so I’d been looking for a pair and found this one a couple of weeks ago from Express.  They’re leggings (jeggings!), so they fit really well and are quite comfortable. They’re also 40% off right now!   So, what are your thoughts on how distressed they are?  Too distressed?  When my mom saw me wearing these jeans, she looked me up and down and said they were “interesting.” Lol.  Would you rock these jeans? What are y’all up to this weekend? This weekend I have TWO weddings! TWO!  One today and one on Sunday.  And quite frankly, I am still not sure what I’m going to wear to either one.  Make sure to follow me on Instagram because I’m still pretty active on there and I’m sure I’ll be posting during these weddings. I like to Instastory during events, and I post more on there than on here.

I’m excited that I have one day in between the two weddings to rest/get stuff done at home.  Tomorrow, I’m hoping to work on getting my Poshmark account up and running, so I can sell my never worn or gently used clothes online.  I have a lot of cute stuff!  When I get that all set up, I’ll add a page to the blog for it under the “shop” tab. Speaking of shopping, the $800 Nordstrom gift card giveaway in my last post is still open, so there is still time to enter.
