Happy spring, Sleevenistas! Spring officially sprung a couple of weeks ago, and this year feels like it is flying by! It’s almost Easter! Each season, I love to give my home, or at least my egg chair (see above), a little refresh. The change feels nice, and it’s always fun to mix up my decor. I love spring decor because it’s so light and bright and the colors are so cheery and pretty! When switching up decor for a new season, it’s fun to focus on a few key areas: home decor, pillows and blankets, and holiday decor. Since spring means Easter and Easter is this weekend, that’s the holiday I’ll be focusing on today! Keep reading to find some fun spring finds, and let me know your favorites in the comments below!
Spring Home Decor
For my spring home decor, I love pastels, florals, and gingham. Each brings spring vibes to my home and brightens it up! I love finding a colorful seasonal wreath, and you can’t go wrong with a floral wreath for spring. If you’re a fan of table runners, gingham patterns are perfect for spring. Another decor piece I like to switch out on my table or kitchen island is the centerpiece by adding spring florals, like tulips. You can also switch up your home’s scent by adding a spring-scented diffuser or candle. These changes are so subtle and easy to make but will have your home looking and feeling like spring!
Spring Throw Pillows and Blankets
Another simple way to transition your home from winter to spring is by swapping out your throw pillows and blankets! For winter, I typically choose warm and cozy colors but for spring I love pretty pastels. Adding a throw blanket to the back of a sofa or chair is a great way to add those lighter colors subtly. Throw pillows have the same effect and can brighten a room super easily! Pro-tip: pillow covers are a great way to change out your throw pillows seasonally but they don’t take up lots of room in storage. Whether you add a gingham or floral pillow or a pastel throw blanket, your space will start looking like spring immediately!
Easter Spring Decor
Easter is this weekend, and these Easter finds are so cute and perfect if you’ll be hosting this Easter Sunday, especially if you have kids! An Easter wreath makes your home welcoming, and tea towels are a great way to add subtle Easter decor to your kitchen. Bunny decor is always a hit, and Amazon has so many cute bunny pieces! If you’re hosting, an Easter runner or placemats are a fun way to spruce up your home for the occasion, and this bunny tray is perfect for all of your Easter treats! Even if you’re not hosting this year, Easter decor is tons of fun and can be used in any home.
