Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas! The warm weather here in Texas has started to get me excited for spring and, more specifically, spring fashion! It’s always so much fun to see what styles are trending each season, and I love checking out all the new arrivals to see what will be popular. So, today, I am making some spring style predictions for this upcoming season!
Skirts and Dresses
Skirts and dresses are always a spring staple, but my spring style prediction is cutout dresses and mini skirts. Cutout dresses are trending now, and I don’t expect that to stop come spring. So many new spring arrivals have already dropped, and there are so many gorgeous cutout dresses! I love this cutout dress for an everyday look, and the pattern on this cutout dress is so much fun! Mini skirts are also trending, and I’m excited to see them back. A black denim skirt is a must-have and goes with so many outfits, and I love a good paper bag mini skirt! The paper bag fit is so flattering and can be dressed up and down. So, keep mini skirts and cutout dresses in mind when shopping for spring!
Basic Neutrals
My second spring style prediction for spring 2023 is lots of basic neutrals. You all know I love color, but it’s always smart to have a few basic neutrals in your wardrobe! T-shirt bodysuits are great for any occasion and can be worn with a skirt or denim and layered with a jacket. I also love this neutral blazer short set! This set is gorgeous and perfect for mixing and matching. Pair the blazer with jeans and wear the shorts with a fun, colorful blouse. The possibilities are endless! Even if you love color as much as I do, basic neutrals are essential and look amazing with a pop of color!
Spring Colors
My color predictions for spring this year are yellows and purples- two of my favorites! Yellow is so bright and cheery and makes any outfit fun. I have this wrap sweater, as you can see in the pic above, and I love it! It’s the perfect transitional sweater and works so well with jeans, skirts, and even shorts. If you’re dressing up for a date or a spring wedding, this yellow dress is flirty and fun. If you’re looking for something a little more casual, I love this pastel yellow lounge set (which I own in purple!). Spring purples are stunning and one of my favorite colors to wear. A pastel purple mini dress is perfect for so many occasions, and I love this lightweight purple cardigan! These colors will be popular this spring, and I am here for it!
I am so excited to start shopping for spring, so making these predictions was a lot of fun.
