Happy December, Friends and Sleevenistas!  Now that the holiday season is in full effect and the temperatures are dropping, I’m looking forward to all of the winter fashion! While it may not get as chilly in Texas as it does in other places, it’s definitely starting to feel like sweater and jacket weather, and I couldn’t be more excited! I love winter fashion, so today, I’m rounding up some of my favorite outerwear, sweaters, and winter accessories and sharing suggestions on how to style them.

Outerwear

Good outerwear is a must to stay cozy and warm in the winter! I love all the cute, trendy outerwear I’ve been seeing lately and how it can enhance an outfit instead of hiding it. Faux leather is very in right now and this fun cropped faux leather jacket is so cute! Faux leather jackets look great paired with a sweater dress and knee-high boots. Teddy-style sherpa jackets are so soft and perfect if you’re looking for something comfortable and warm.  Orolay coats are great for colder temperatures.  I have one in red that really came in handy on a trip to New York in February! For a perfect lightweight option, try a quilted jacket. Whether you’re getting snow or just need some layering pieces, there’s an option for everyone!

Sweaters & Cardigans

Sweater weather is my absolute favorite, and it’s the best time of year if you ask me! I love that sweaters and cardigans provide both warmth and comfort while also being cute! A good chunky cardigan can be paired with jeans or a mini skirt and boots for a fashionable look. Mock-neck and turtleneck sweaters can add extra warmth and layering in colder temperatures while patterned sweaters and fringe sweaters are a great way to add some fun to your outfit! Long tunic-style sweaters pair well with leggings and sneakers for a casual OOTD. So, whether you’re trying to get dressed up or stay casual, sweaters and cardigans are always a good idea!

Winter Accessories

If it’s extra cold where you are, you know how important winter accessories are! To keep your hands nice and warm, you’ll definitely need gloves or mittens. Beanies are also a must-have in cold weather. Pom pom beanies are so cute, and earmuffs give off major snow bunny vibes. Scarves are wonderful accessories for keeping warm and looking stylish, and I love how multifunctional blanket scarves are! These accessories will definitely help you stay warm this winter!

Winter fashion can be so much fun! I can’t wait to rock my outerwear, sweaters, and winter accessories this season! I may even need to take a trip somewhere with snow to really experience the winter season! How cold is it where you are?
